Vous vous souvenez de la COP21 \u00e0 Paris? Cette conf\u00e9rence climat qui a rassembl\u00e9 la plupart des pays du monde pour les mettre d’accord sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a une COP chaque ann\u00e9e, dans une ville diff\u00e9rente. Il en sort toujours des conclusions, pas toujours ambitieuses. Avec des solutions parfois longues et compliqu\u00e9es, comme remplacer les voitures thermiques par des voitures \u00e9lectriques. Ou encore l’avion vert, qui n’est pour le moment qu’un vague concept. Mais dans toutes les solutions possibles pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions, le v\u00e9lo est souvent oubli\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour rappeler que le v\u00e9lo pouvait \u00eatre une solution, des cyclistes ont imagin\u00e9 un d\u00e9fi un peu fou : relier les villes des COP entre elles, par un gigantesque relai \u00e0 v\u00e9lo. Chaque cycliste qui p\u00e9dale porte une banni\u00e8re, avec 10 engagements, qu’il va transmettre \u00e0 un autre cycliste, jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’elle arrive \u00e0 destination dans la ville de la COP suivante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur le chemin, ils rencontreront les autorit\u00e9s locales pour leur demander de prendre des engagements, qui seront port\u00e9s jusqu’\u00e0 la COP31 \u00e0 Antalya, en Turquie. Ils seront remis au pr\u00e9sident de la COP pour lui demander d’inclure le v\u00e9lo dans les solutions pour d\u00e9carboner la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2025, la COP30 a eu lieu \u00e0 B\u00e9lem, au Br\u00e9sil. Ce 28 mai, le relai s’est \u00e9lanc\u00e9 depuis cette ville pour se diriger vers Kourou en Guyane. De l\u00e0, un bateau emm\u00e8nera les cyclistes et leur banni\u00e8re au Portugal. Ils traverseront ensuite l’Espagne, puis prendront l’Eurov\u00e9lo 8 en France. Ils passeront par Leucate les 3-4 ao\u00fbt et Narbonne les 4-5 ao\u00fbt puis rejoindront le Canal du Midi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V\u00e9locit\u00e9 vous propose d’aller \u00e0 la rencontre du relay le 4 ao\u00fbt. Le d\u00e9part aura lieu \u00e0 10h, au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre+Cin\u00e9ma. Nous irons jusqu’\u00e0 l’ile Sainte-Lucie pour un pique-nique tir\u00e9 du sac. Nous reviendrons ensuite vers Narbonne o\u00f9 nous devrions arriver vers 16-17h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
